“Over the course of the last several years I’ve built incredible relationships with Pat East, the folks at The Mill, and several members of the Flywheel Fund. These folks are like family to me, and they’re going to continue to play an important role in the success of Blueprint Stats.”
BLUEPRINT STATS / CEO & CO-FOUNDER
“Not only has the fund followed on in our subsequent fundraising round, but the connections and buzz from the network have been significant in securing other investors, sourcing talent, industry connections, and more. Flywheel Fund clearly has the founder top of mind, which makes for a great partnership that benefits both the company and the investors—everyone wins.”
stagetime / Founder & CEO
“Flywheel Fund is one of the most founder-friendly funds you can ask for. One of the happiest surprises I’ve had is how quickly they make funding decisions. They recognize that fundraising is a huge time commitment, so they don’t bog founders’ time down with long processes.“

Pre-seed & seed
We fund early-stage companies. You’ve validated your company: the product is built, and you have at least a few customers. You’re probably raising somewhere between $100K and $1.5M.
We look for companies that can scale quickly, and that typically means tech. We invest across many industry sectors, but all of our portfolio companies are driven by technology and innovation.
This part’s pretty simple: we only invest in Indiana-based companies.
We look at three factors when we evaluate startups: team, market, and product. Your team is particularly important, since we’re investing in early. We’re looking for capital-efficient tech companies with innovative products, healthy market potential, and the leadership required to reach product market fit.
Flywheel Fund is a good fit for startups who want active investors who can help shape operations and strategy. While we don’t take board seats, after investment, one of our members will meet with and mentor the CEO for the first year and periodically thereafter.
We also care deeply about diversity, not only in the founders we fund, but in our portfolio companies’ leadership teams. Diverse teams get better results, and we’re investing, literally, in your success. So when we invest, we’ll ask you to commit to building a diverse team.
